About Us
Urban Vines opened the spring of 2017 in Westfield, Indiana. We are Westfield’s first winery and second brewery. The Herron family acquired 5 acres in the heart of the city where they have built a winery, brewery, tasting room and vineyard. The tasting room can accommodate over 80 patrons and outdoor patio and meadow can host large events overlooking the pond and vineyard The meadow out back provides the perfect setting for the Westfield weekends where people gather to enjoy great wine, beer, live music and light fare.
Wine Tastings
We do have set wine tastings that can be ordered and taken to your outdoor seat. We have a dry, sweet and everything wine tasting. You get four 2 ounce pours and tasting notes for $8.
Seating
We have seating both indoors and out. Grab a table on our patio or enjoy our tasting room indoors. Indoors we have seating for 60+ people. Outdoors we have seating for 200+ people. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for our meadow concerts during the summer.
Sunday Wine & Beer Purchases
Yes! Carry out wine and beer may be purchased in our tasting room on Sundays, noon to 9pm. Sunday fun day, right?
Food
We have delicious charcuterie boards of meats, cheeses, breads, jams, and more. They go great with our wines and beers. We also offer Artisan style pizza, salad and appetizers. No outside food please.

]]>We want to keep our residents at Maple Knoll updated with fun happenings in our area, and it’s almost time for fall. Highlighted below are two events that we love coming up in Westfield and our southern neighbor Carmel, so get out the beer steins and leash up the pup, because we have an Oktoberfest for humans – and dogs!
Oktoberfest in Westfield
The first upcoming event is Oktoberfest presented by the City of Carmel. This fun fall event features the party polka band Der Polkatz, with members of Polkaboy celebrating Oktoberfest at the Carmel City Center. It is free to the public and open to all ages. The 11-piece band plays various music, from classic rock to polka to waltz, and more. They perform on the upper deck of the City Center. There will be food, drinks, and more.

Barktoberfest
Now, on to the best event of all time – Barktoberfest! This dog-friendly Oktoberfest event for our canine friends is happening Saturday, October 9, and will take place at Asa Bales Park. Enjoy the festivities with your dog and canine friends with tons of activities, food, beverages, and more. There will be pet vendors at the Mutt Mart, and activities for humans and their dogs at the Canine Cabana. The canine agility course will feature all the furry athletes, and there will be prizes from the Human Society. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Humane Society for Hamilton County.
There will also be adoptable pets.

Things to Do for Labor Day

There are multiple outdoor music venues featuring live music. Check out Fishers Blues Fest at Nickel Plate District amphitheater.

If you love sunflowers, you can shower yourself with them on seven amazing acres at the local Sunflower Festival. It takes place at Stuckey Farm Orchard and Cider Mill.

There are multiple local Farmers Markets in the area. Choose one here – farmers’ markets – for the best local produce and fresh foods.

Take a long walk or bike ride along the Monon Trail, stretching north to Sheridan and south towards Indianapolis.

The local Fishers District continues to grown and has some wonderful spots to stop and grab a drink or some food at Sun King Brewery or HC Tavern and Kitchen.

Picnics are always fun, and with tons of parks in the area, it’s a good time to explore a new one like Flat Fork Creek Park or MacGregor Park.

Golfing in Indiana is fantastic this time of year, with temperatures cooling down and places like Top Golf open. Check out Indiana’s Golf courses for a round.

Soak up the final days of summer by cooling off in a waterpark, such as Monon Waterpark in Carmel.
