]]>Westfield and Central Indiana have a great craft beer scene, with numerous breweries spread between the local towns. These are all fairly close to Maple Knoll and are well worth the trip.
Here are some of the best local breweries (along with one winery).
Westfield
Grand Junction Brewing Company
Two locations: 110 S Union St. and 1189 E. 181st St.

European methods influence this traditional craft brewery. There’s a beer called the Westfield Underground Extra Special. Ther serve delicious sandwiches, fish and chips, and pizza as well.
Urban Vines Winery and Brewery

California grapes, along with Oregon, Washington, and Pennsylvania are put into these delicious wines. They make beer in small batches. Make sure to stop by the sunflowers for a photo and check out their event calendar.
Noblesville
Barley Island Brewing Company

With live music every Wednesday from 8 pm – 12 am, it’s a great spot to break up the week with a beer. They are a full-service restaurant and brewpub with carryout and six-packs available.
Deer Creek Brewery
Just off I 37, Barley Island Brewing Company also owns this spin-off brewery hosting trivia night every Thursday night at 7:30 pm. Get there early to sign up!

Union Brewing Company

Monon Trail is right next to this brewery, and they feature live music on the patio. This dog-friendly brewery also specializes in cask brewing.

Upland Brewing Company features over 35 beers at any given time, from barrel-aged to sours and beyond. The menu is great for vegetarians. A cozy atmosphere and wonderful patio make this a top spot.

]]>This May, Grand Junction Brewing Co. is excited to announce the 6th Annual Rock the Junction Craft Beer & Music Festival to be held on Saturday, May 21st, 2022.
This sixth-year event will feature approximately 20+ Indiana breweries, wineries, distilleries, and cideries showcasing some of the state’s best craft beer, wine, spirits, and cider offerings. In addition, multiple bands will once again return to the big stage to complement the true music-fest format that helps make this event so unique and special. Bring your appetite as well, a number of well-known local food trucks will be in attendance.
Passionately focused on its local community, Grand Junction Brewing Co. created this event with one purpose – giving back. This community-mindedness is evident in the breweries' significant contributions over the past 8 years. Grand Junction Brewing Co. plans to continue its growth in a locally-focused fashion with a strong emphasis on community. A significant portion of the proceeds from “Rock the Junction” will continue to help fund the Grand Junction Brewing Co. Scholarship Fund that was established in 2017. This fund was created to award two scholarships to deserving graduates of Westfield High School. Past charities have included the Indy Honor Flight, the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, and Westfield Youth Assistance. Please give a special thanks to all of these great companies for their support of Rock The Junction and everything it stands for. Grand Junction Brewing Co. is excited to present the 5th Annual Rock the Junction Craft Beer & Music Festival on Saturday, August 28th, 2021.
This fifth-year event will feature approximately 20+ Indiana breweries and wineries showcasing some of the state’s best craft beer and wine offerings. In addition, multiple bands will once again return to the big stage to complement the true music-fest format that helps make this event so unique and special. Bring your appetite as well, a number of well-known local food trucks will be in attendance.
VIP entry into the event begins from 1pm – 2pm, with General Admission entry beginning at 2pm. Designated Drivers may enter the event at any time. VIP tickets include an extra hour to enjoy the event AND first access to enjoy several specialty beers that will likely only last during the VIP hour.
